Vanilla Cream Cheese Pound Cake

This creamy cheesy flavor of vanilla pound cake has some sweetness but not too sweet. Recently, I have been doing a lot of homemade bread, cakes, cupcakes and some donuts at home. My daughters love sweet, of course, but I tend to make it at home instead of buying at grocery store. Save some money plus I can control some notorious in the sweet treats they intake.

The process of making pound cake similar to make regular pound cake. This recipe I just added cream cheese and sour cream for the creamy and cheesy flavor to it. It makes just some more full fat for my kids. I tend to use organic and grass-fed with full fat butter because pound cake use butter as their main ingredients. If you use the best butter the better taste of pound cake will be.

I use hand mixer which you can also use stand mixer if you already have. I would love to get one but my kitchen just didn't have a space for a stand mixer. For baking pan, I use glass loaf pan which I already have. I used to have a round yellow cake baking pan but when I moved, I think some of my tools are gone somewhere that I couldn't find it but that is not a big deal. I use what I have. It's all about the taste and eating. Don't have to care about how it look. Hmm, taste good that is all the matter, right! Believe me, I used to by a perfectionist, after I have kids, my professional perfectionist has been lose some track but it is okay. ^_^

Thinking of what I should make for my kids each day, it passionate me to be more motivate of creating new recipes. You can find me at grocery store anywhere around town, full hand of veggies bags or bakery ingredients. If I have time, then I will squeezed freshly orange juice for my kids. Training them to eat healthy is not easy but mommy life just never give up trying.
