This year Mother's Day is really special because I have little ladies help me make our biscuits breakfast for our family. They enjoy help me cut the biscuits in different shapes; heart, flower, and star. It's a fun activity and I get to chat with them and teaching them how to do our house traditional biscuits breakfast together.
Buttery, soft, and healthy homemade. The reason of homemade is you can choose to use the best quality of ingredients, have fun making this recipe and you can eat as much as you want too. Main ingredients of this recipe are flour, butter and milk. So, I use good quality of these three ingredients to get better taste of the biscuits.
Menu Ingredients Serving for 6
2 and 1/2 cup of All Propose Flour
1/2 tablespoon of Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
1/2 cup of Butter, room temperature and cut cube
1 Large Egg
1/2 cup of Milk
For this preparation, need hand-on to give the dough massage and fluffy texture. So, make sure you clean your hand before you start.
Preheat your oven for 400 Fahrenheit degree while you are getting biscuits dough ready.
Mix dry ingredients; 1 and 1/2 cup of flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl (use large bowl, so, you have more space when you massage the dough), mix well.
Add butter into the dry ingredients bowl and then mash the butter into the flour mixed with your hand until butter look corporate with the flour mixed.
Add milk and mix well until the look smooth. Then add egg and mix until the dough more smooth. During this time if the dough sticky, you add the left of flour and massage the dough until the dough smooth and ready to cut the dough.
After you cut, put on the baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the top look golden brown.
"I serve this biscuits with cooked small sausages and fresh fruits. More options to serve with this biscuits; fired egg, bacon of your choice, burger meat, chicken breast, fresh vegetable, sliced tomatoes or onions, whichever choice you prefer."
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
