This is Japanese menu and it tastes super delicious. Mobo Dofu or Mapo Tofu as most people recognize the tofu word at the end of the menu or マーボー豆腐 in Japanese word called. This menu is an Japanese everyday meal that you can make at home. However, if you go the Japanese restaurant, you might or might not find this menu. Mobo Dofu is very popular meal in Japanese households.
This menu originally will use ground meat such as ground chicken, ground pork, or ground beef, with firm or soften tofu and tasty sauce. However, as I'm on my vegetarian project, I only used firm tofu as you see on the photo above. As this plate is a Japanese menu, I used most of ingredients from Japan from soy sauce to mirin that you can find them at Asian grocery stores.
This menu portion serves for 4 parties. If you have more guests you can use this recipe as your guideline and you can adjust the portion size big or small as your desire.
