Salmon has good source of Omega-3 and it is essential for pregnancy. The Omega-3 helps for baby's brain development while I am pregnant. At this time for the rest and second trimesters, I eat more salmon than usual. Well, you don't have to be pregnant to have this menu. This healthy dish is good for everyone.
Make sure you get salmon that wild caught to get real Omega-3 and more minerals from the sea.
I love to make this menu when I have a tough time to cook food and I need to make something easy, quick and full of nutritions. This menu is not only for the main meal but you can also hosting this quick meal for your small group party. It's quick, easy to prepare and cook, plus this menu healthy and I am sure your guess will ask for more.
This main dish has sour flavor from mustard and lemon scent from the zest. For this menu, I make, Roasted Asparagus for side dish. These go well together with the salmon because asparagus have a bit sweet flavor to cut down the sour flavor from the salmon.
Ingredients Portion Serving For 4 Family Member
1 pound of Salmon
2 tablespoons of Whole Grain Mustard
Dash of Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper
1 Lemon Zest
Total 20 Minutes Time of Praparation
Preheat oven for 400 Fahrenheit degree
Clean Salmon and bound of water with paper towel.
Seasoning salmon with sea salt and ground black pepper.
Place salmon into a baking sheet, then pour the mixed grain mustard and lemon zest over the salmon.
Roasted for approximately 15 minutes for medium. (Less time for rare and more time for cooked whichever you desire)
